Five Elements Practice

Start Your Healing with Five Elements Practice… No Qigong Experience Necessary.
This is not a regular Qigong class.

Distilling ancient wisdom to its essence, this live class brings authentic Qigong and its healing power to all. If you are new to Qigong, you will walk away with everything you need to start your self-healing Qigong practice. If you are an advanced Qigong practitioner, this class will take your understanding into a whole new dimension.

Why Do We Get Sick? Is Self-Healing Possible?

Ancient Chinese healing science says the body has 12 major energy channels. These connect to our internal organs. Qi flows through these energy channels, which work together to support our organs in their jobs and maintain the balance of a healthy, living ecosystem. Sometimes the flow of Qi gets blocked. This blockage can grow bigger and eventually make the body sick. It can even cause more energy blockages in other parts of the body.
But the body can heal itself, because it was designed that way. Our bodies run on an intelligent life-force – what we call “Qi.” Certain kinds of body-movement can activate this intelligence, sweeping away energy blockages and rapidly restoring the flow of life-force. This is the power of self-healing – the power of the Five Element Healing Movements.

Energy Medicine Definitions:

Right Brain Definition: “Energy is your body’s magic! It is your life force. You keep it healthy and it keeps you healthy. If you are sick or sad, shifting your energies feels good. When you care for these invisible energies, it makes your heart sing and your cells happy!”

-Donna Eden

Left Brain Definition: “Conventional medicine, at its foundation, focuses on the biochemistry of cells, tissue, and organs. Energy Medicine, at its foundation, focuses on the energy fields of the body that organize and control the growth and repair of cells, tissue, and organs. Changing impaired energy patterns may be the most efficient, least invasive way to improve the vitality of organs, cells, and psyche.”

-David Feinstein, Ph.D.

“Many have asked us, “is Spring Forest Qigong religious?”
We happily answer “nope!”
SFQ is a philosophy and a science without prayer or worship. It’s a practice based on tried and tested results, with the main goal of using energy to heal the body from within.
Is Religion involved in Energy Medicine?  No belief system, allegiance, or religious affiliation is associated with Evoke Healing Space.

Energy Medicine is based on science not religion.  Albert Einstein revealed in quantum physics that Energy can not be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed.

The science and study of energy flow in the body as well as the studies of the relationship between the body and nature.

When we in the west hear someone say “mind/body/spirit,” we MISTAKENLY THINK the SPIRIT aspect is TIED to a spiritual or RELIGIOUS PRACTICE.   A better explanation for Energy Medicine is about “mind/body/HEART.”

A better translation for Qigong Practice is “mind/body/HEART.” When people in the west hear someone say “mind/body/spirit,” they MISTAKENLY THINK the SPIRIT aspect is TIED to a spiritual or RELIGIOUS PRACTICE.  QiGong has nothing to do with any religion.  Qigong is the study of energy flow in the body and also the study of the relationship between the body and nature.

The more one practices qigong, the more it quiets the mind, helps the energy flow unobstructed through the body, and consequently opens up the spirit or heart energy. When people in the West hear someone say “mind/body/spirit,” they mistakenly think the spirit aspect is tied to a spiritual or religious practice.

A better translation is “mind/body/heart,” as everyone has an innate heart energy that is not the emotional heart of the human, but a heart energy that, when open, is capable of unconditional love and sees the goodness in all people. So if you have a religious belief, you have this heart energy, and if you don’t have a religious belief, you still have this heart energy. It is inherent in all of us, and you can choose whether or not to use it in a religious practice.                                                                                                                                                                                                    It is a goal of Spring Forest Qigong to help you open your heart energy so it is easier to practice love, kindness, and forgiveness. This helps develop and purify your overall energy, allowing you to heal much more quickly and to help others heal much more quickly. You then walk in the world in a much more open-hearted way–a healing presence wherever you go. Written by, Spring Forest QiGong, Author, Master Lin
